Sir Alex Ferguson banned the players' planned X-mas party. This is a relief, really: there's no need for another controversy which engulfed United last December and January. The press had a field day with last season's shenanigans which allegedly involved dozens of ladies and gallons of alcohol... Some of the lasses, seeking extra attention, even tried to sell some spicey details to the press but these were less successful than the overall coverage of the whole event. read more »

The problem is that people s ideas of what makes a good party vary considerably.
